Lorena Delgado Varas

Lorena Delgado Varas is a Swedish politician and current Member of the Riksdag, representing the Stockholm Municipality constituency. Born in 1974, she has a background in chemical engineering and previously worked as a quality engineer at AstraZeneca. Delgado Varas served on the Stockholm municipal council from 2014 to 2018 before being elected to the national parliament. In 2025, she resigned from the Left Party following controversy regarding an antisemitic image but continues to serve as an independent member of the Riksdag.
