Lorena Garcia

Lorena García is an American politician and community organizer serving as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives since January 2023. She was appointed to the seat by a vacancy committee following the resignation of Adrienne Benavidez, who endorsed her candidacy. Prior to her legislative service, García worked extensively with various nonprofit organizations in Colorado and unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate in 2020. She continues to represent her district as a member of the Democratic Party.
