Louis Marandi

Louis Marandi is an Indian politician from Jharkhand currently serving as a member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly representing the Jama constituency. Previously a prominent leader and cabinet minister with the Bharatiya Janata Party holding portfolios such as Welfare, Women, and Child Development, she transitioned to the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha in October 2024. She is widely recognized for her political influence in the Santal Pargana region and her previous victory defeating Hemant Soren in the 2014 assembly elections.
