Luciene Cavalcante is a Brazilian politician and educator currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of São Paulo. A member of the Socialism and Liberty Party (PSOL), she assumed office in 2023. Before her parliamentary career, she worked as a public school teacher, school supervisor, and principal in the municipal network of São Paulo. She holds a degree in pedagogy from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a master's degree in education from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Cavalcante is also a lawyer and researcher in educational law, with a long history of activism in defense of public servants and education professionals.
