Luigi Marattin is an Italian politician, economist, and academic who serves as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies. Born in Naples in 1979, he holds a PhD in Political Economy and has worked as an associate professor at the University of Bologna. His political career began in local government in Ferrara, followed by roles as an economic advisor to Prime Ministers Matteo Renzi and Paolo Gentiloni. A former member of the Democratic Party and Italia Viva, he founded the Liberal Democratic Party in 2025, advocating for liberal-reformist policies and the continuation of the Draghi agenda.
