Luiz Carlos Hauly

Luiz Carlos Hauly is a Brazilian politician, economist, and educator currently serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Paraná. A veteran figure in Brazilian politics, he has served multiple terms in the Chamber and previously held the position of Secretary of Finance for Paraná under the administrations of Alvaro Dias and Beto Richa. Throughout his career, Hauly has been recognized for his focus on economic policy, including his involvement in the development of the Plano Real and various tax reform initiatives. He began his political journey as a councilman and later mayor of Cambé, and he is frequently cited by the DIAP as one of the most influential parliamentarians in the National Congress.
