Mónica Fein is an Argentine biochemist and politician who currently serves as a member of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies. A prominent member of the Socialist Party, she made history in 2011 by becoming the first woman from the party to be elected mayor of Rosario, a position she held until 2019. Throughout her career, she has focused on public health, having served as the Secretary of Public Health for Rosario and as a director in the city's sanitation department. Since 2021, she has also served as the president of the Socialist Party.
