Maia Bitadze

Maia Bitadze is a Georgian politician serving as a member of the Parliament of Georgia since 2020. Representing the Georgian Dream party, she holds the position of Chairperson of the Committee on Environmental Protection and Natural Resources. In this capacity, she has been a key figure in advancing environmental legislation, including significant revisions to the Administrative Offenses Code to increase penalties for pollution. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Georgian delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, where she advocates for regional stability and peace processes in the South Caucasus.
