Maia Bitadze

Maia Bitadze is a Georgian politician serving as a member of the Parliament of Georgia since 2020. Representing the Georgian Dream party, she holds the position of Chairperson of the Committee of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources. In this capacity, she has been a key advocate for environmental legislative reform, including proposing significant increases in fines for environmental pollution. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Georgian delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, where she has emphasized the importance of peace processes in the South Caucasus for regional stability.
