Maja Popović
Profile
Maja Popović is a Serbian lawyer and politician who served as the Minister of Justice of Serbia from 2020 to 2025. Before her ministerial appointment, she held various roles within the Security Intelligence Agency (BIA) and worked as a judge in the First Municipal Court in Belgrade. Early in her career, she became the youngest elected judge in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia at the age of 26. She holds a law degree from the University of Belgrade and a master's degree from the University of Novi Sad.
