Makhdoom Syed Murtaza Mehmood is a Pakistani politician currently serving as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, a position he has held since February 2024. Previously, he served in the National Assembly from 2018 to 2023 and as a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from 2013 to 2018. In April 2022, he was appointed as the Federal Minister for Industries in the coalition government led by Shahbaz Sharif. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Economics.
