Manan Kumar Mishra is an Indian jurist and politician currently serving as a member of the Rajya Sabha representing Bihar. A prominent legal professional, he has served as the chairman of the Bar Council of India, the apex body regulating the legal profession in the country. Before entering national politics, Mishra established a distinguished career as an advocate, beginning his practice at the Patna High Court in 1982 and later moving to the Supreme Court of India in 2009. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha unopposed in August 2024 as a nominee of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
