Manisha Anuragi

Manisha Anuragi is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Rath constituency in Uttar Pradesh. A graduate of Bundelkhand University, she holds an M.Sc. and an M.Phil. degree. Initially planning a career in academia, she entered politics at the encouragement of her husband, Dr. Lekhram Anuragi. She first won the Rath seat as an independent candidate in 2012 before later joining the Bharatiya Janata Party, where she continues to represent her constituency.
