Manohar Lal Khattar

Manohar Lal Khattar is an Indian politician currently serving as the Union Minister of Power and Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs. A prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he previously served as the 10th Chief Minister of Haryana from 2014 to 2024. Before his tenure as Chief Minister, he was a long-time Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak and held key organizational roles within the BJP. In the 2024 Indian general election, he was elected to the Lok Sabha representing the Karnal constituency. His political career has been marked by initiatives in e-governance and police reform, though he has also faced criticism for controversial public remarks regarding women and the judiciary.
