María Teresa Jiménez Esquivel

María Teresa Jiménez Esquivel is a Mexican politician currently serving as the Governor of Aguascalientes for the 2022–2027 term, becoming the first woman to hold this office in the state's history. Affiliated with the National Action Party (PAN), she previously served as the mayor of Aguascalientes and as a federal deputy in the 62nd Congress from 2012 to 2015, where she represented the second district of Aguascalientes.
