Marcus Steinhart

Marcus Steinhart is a German politician serving as the Lord Mayor of Glauchau, Saxony, since 2022. Before his election, he worked as a nurse at the Rudolf Virchow Clinic in Glauchau and later served as a department head for public safety and social affairs for the city. He holds degrees in education, sociology, law, and prevention management. Steinhart previously served on the Glauchau city council from 1999 to 2008 and has been a guest lecturer at the State Study Academy in Breitenbrunn since 2017.
