Maria Cristina Cantù

Maria Cristina Cantù is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic. A graduate in Law and Political Science from the University of Milan, she previously held various executive roles in the public health sector, including as a General Director for local health authorities in Lombardy. Her political career includes serving as a municipal councilor and assessor in Laveno Mombello and Varese, as well as holding the position of Regional Assessor for Family, Social Solidarity, and Volunteering in Lombardy from 2013 to 2015. She was first elected to the Senate in 2018 and has since focused on health and social policy.
