Marian Vasile is a Romanian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of Romania, representing Dolj County since December 2024. A graduate in Computer Science and a qualified engineer, he also holds a master's degree in Public Institution Management obtained in 2010. Before his election to the Senate, he was a candidate for the mayoralty of Craiova in the 2024 local elections. In the Senate, he serves on the Committee for Public Administration and acts as vice-chair of the Committee for Communications, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence.
