Marianna Madia

Marianna Madia is an Italian politician who has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2008. A former Minister for Public Administration and Simplification in the Renzi and Gentiloni cabinets from 2014 to 2018, she is recognized for her legislative work on public sector reform, digital citizenship, and labor contracts. Educated at the University of Rome La Sapienza and the IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca, she previously worked with the AREL research agency. Although long associated with the Democratic Party, she announced her departure from the party in May 2026. Throughout her career, she has been involved in various parliamentary commissions, including those focused on labor, budget, and European Union policies.
