Marie Claire Uwumuremyi

Marie Claire Uwumuremyi is a Rwandan politician born in 1979 who has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2018. Before entering parliament, she worked for the Land Bureau as a District Land Officer and District Land Valuation Officer, and served as Chairperson of the National Women Council in the Southern Province. In parliament, she has been active on women's representation and community development programs, and was elected to the Executive Committee of the Rwanda Chapter of the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians in 2019.
