Marie Goldman is a British Liberal Democrat politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Chelmsford since 2024, becoming the first non-Conservative to represent the constituency in 74 years. Before her election to Parliament, she served as the deputy leader of Chelmsford City Council and as a member of the Essex County Council. Currently, she acts as the Liberal Democrat spokesperson for Women and Equalities, having previously served as the Shadow Leader of the House of Commons. Outside of her political career, she manages a small construction business.
