Marie Mesmeur

Marie Mesmeur is a French politician serving as a member of the National Assembly for Ille-et-Vilaine's 1st constituency since 2024. Before her election, she was active in student unionism and social movements, notably serving as a national secretary for the student organization L'Alternative. A sociologist by training, she has focused her academic and professional work on child protection. Mesmeur is a member of La France Insoumise and has been a prominent figure in local politics, including her candidacy for the 2026 municipal elections in Rennes.
