Mark Spreitzer

Mark Spreitzer is an American politician serving as a member of the Wisconsin State Senate, representing the 15th Senate district since 2023. Born in Chicago and raised in Illinois, he later settled in Beloit, Wisconsin, where he began his political career on the Beloit City Council, eventually serving as council president. Prior to his election to the Senate, he served four terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 2015 to 2023. An openly gay politician, Spreitzer has focused his legislative work on committees including agriculture, revenue, transportation, and labor.
