Marko Kovačević

Marko Kovačević is a Montenegrin politician currently serving as the Mayor of Nikšić, a position he has held since May 2021. A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Montenegro, he began his political career as a member of the Municipal Assembly of Nikšić and later served as a member of the Parliament of Montenegro. Kovačević is a prominent member and spokesperson for the New Serb Democracy party. He is known for his advocacy of Serbian national interests in Montenegro and has been a vocal participant in regional political movements, often drawing attention for his nationalist stances and support for the 'For the Future of Montenegro' coalition.
