Markus Selin is a Swedish politician and a member of the Riksdag, representing Stockholm County since September 2022. A member of the Social Democratic Party, he previously served as a substitute member of the Riksdag on five separate occasions between 2018 and 2022, filling in for prominent party figures including Ibrahim Baylan, Mikael Damberg, and Magdalena Andersson. Selin, who is a Finnish speaker, is the son of a metalworker and a janitor. He continues to serve in the national legislature as an active representative for his constituency.
