Marta Cienkowska is a Polish politician and government official currently serving as the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Born in Ciechanów, she studied political science at the University of Warsaw and cultural management at the Polish Academy of Sciences. Before her ministerial appointment, she worked as a theatrical producer and served as an Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from 2023 to 2025. In 2026, she oversaw the successful repatriation of a 12th-century manuscript from Yale University to Poland.
