Martin Andreasson

Martin Andreasson is a Swedish politician and member of the Liberal Party. Since October 2022, he has served as a State Secretary to the Minister for Gender Equality and Deputy Minister for Employment, Paulina Brandberg. Previously, he served as a member of the Riksdag between 2002 and 2006 and again briefly in 2012. Throughout his career, Andreasson has been a prominent advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, anti-discrimination, and civil liberties, having chaired the parliamentary cross-party LGBTQ group and served as a leader within the HBT-liberaler organization. He has also been an active local politician in Solna Municipality since 2006, holding various committee roles focused on social services and disability rights.
