Martin Baxa is a Czech politician who has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2017. A long-standing member of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS), he previously held the position of Minister of Culture in the cabinet of Petr Fiala from 2021 to 2025. Baxa also served two terms as the mayor of Plzeň, first from 2010 to 2014 and again from 2018 to 2022. Before entering national politics, he worked as a teacher at a grammar school in Plzeň and held various regional government roles.
