Martin Behringer

Martin Behringer is a German politician serving as a member of the Landtag of Bavaria since October 2023. Previously, he served as the full-time mayor of the municipality of Thurmansbang from 2002 to 2024. A trained baker and confectioner by trade, Behringer is also active in local government as a member of the Freyung-Grafenau district council, where he has led the Free Voters parliamentary group since 2014. He is also involved in various civic and religious organizations, including the Catholic Adult Education center in the Diocese of Passau.
