Martin Lidegaard

Martin Lidegaard is a Danish politician who has served as the leader of the Social Liberal Party since 2022. A long-standing member of the Folketing, he previously held cabinet positions as the Minister for Climate, Energy and Building from 2011 to 2014 and as the Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2014 to 2015. Throughout his career, Lidegaard has been a prominent advocate for centrist politics, consistently promoting the idea of cross-bloc cooperation in Danish governance. He remains an active member of the Danish Parliament and is involved in international policy through organizations such as the European Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission.
