Martine Berthet is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Savoie department since 2017. She previously served as the Mayor of Albertville from 2014 to 2017, becoming the first woman to hold that office, and has been a departmental councillor for Savoie since 2015. Throughout her career, she has been involved in local governance, including roles as a deputy mayor in Ugine and as a vice-president of the Arlysère intercommunal structure. She is a member of The Republicans party.
