Mary Maingi

Mary Maingi is a Kenyan politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for the Mwea constituency. Elected in 2022 as a candidate for the United Democratic Alliance, she made history as the only woman elected to a parliamentary seat within Kirinyaga County during that election cycle. Maingi holds degrees from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. Beyond her legislative duties, she is active in local community development, including educational infrastructure projects and the sponsorship of youth sports initiatives like the Mary Maingi Super Cup.
