Massimiliano Romeo

Massimiliano Romeo is an Italian politician currently serving as a Senator of the Republic and as the parliamentary group leader for the Lega Salvini Premier party in the Senate. Born in Monza in 1971, he began his political career in the early 1990s with the Lega Nord. Over the decades, he has held various local and regional offices, including serving as a municipal councillor in Monza and a regional councillor in Lombardy. Known as a close ally of Matteo Salvini, Romeo has been a prominent figure in the party's national leadership and was elected regional secretary of the Lega in Lombardy in December 2024.
