
Matas Maldeikis
Profile
Matas Maldeikis is a Lithuanian politician and public policy commentator serving as a Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania. First elected in 2020, he has been re-elected for the 2024–2028 term. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has focused on foreign policy, national security, and artificial intelligence, notably chairing the Lithuanian Parliamentary Group for Relations with Taiwan. Before entering the legislature, he worked in the Vilnius County Governor’s Administration and served as the permanent representative of the Seimas to the European Union. He is also an active public commentator on geopolitics and technology policy.
