Mateusz Bochenek is a Polish politician and local government official currently serving as a member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. Born in Sosnowiec, he began his political career in local government, eventually serving as the chairman of the Sosnowiec City Council. A member of the Civic Platform party, he was first elected to the Sejm in 2019 and secured re-election in 2023. In the X term of the Sejm, he has held positions on the Legislative Committee, the Administration and Internal Affairs Committee, and the Justice and Human Rights Committee, and he joined the Pegasus investigative committee in 2025.
