Matt McKee

Matt McKee is an American politician currently serving as a Republican member of the Arkansas Senate, representing the 6th district. He assumed office in 2023 after defeating incumbent Bill Sample in the 2022 Republican primary and winning the general election with 69 percent of the vote. Prior to his election to the state senate, McKee served as a justice of the peace in Garland County, Arkansas. During his legislative tenure, he has drawn public attention for his conservative policy stances and controversial questioning of witnesses during committee hearings.
