Matteo Richetti is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies and as the parliamentary group leader for Action-Popolari Europei Riformatori-Renew Europe. Born in Sassuolo in 1974, he began his political career in the regional assembly of Emilia-Romagna, where he served as president from 2010 to 2013. A former member of the Democratic Party and a close associate of Matteo Renzi, Richetti later joined the centrist party Action. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal advocate for the reduction of political costs, transparency in public administration, and liberal social policies.
