Maureen Pugh is a New Zealand politician currently serving as a Member of the New Zealand House of Representatives for the West Coast-Tasman electorate. First elected to Parliament in 2016, she has served multiple terms as a list MP before winning her electorate seat in 2023. Previously, she served as the mayor of Westland from 2004 to 2013, becoming the district's first female mayor. In December 2023, she was appointed Assistant Speaker of the House. Pugh has announced her intention to retire from politics at the 2026 general election.
