Mauro Laus

Mauro Laus is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies, having been elected in 2022. Previously, he served as a Senator of the Republic during the XVIII legislature and as the President of the Piedmont Regional Council from 2014 to 2018. Before his full-time political career, he was an entrepreneur and president of the multiservice cooperative Rear. His political tenure has been marked by his work in regional and national legislative commissions, as well as controversies regarding his management of the Rear cooperative and public remarks made during his time in the Senate.
