Mavis Kuukua Bissue

Mavis Kuukua Bissue is a Ghanaian politician and a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). She made history as the first female Member of Parliament elected for the Ahanta West constituency. Bissue secured her seat in the 2024 general elections by defeating the New Patriotic Party candidate, Francis Eric Pobee, with 58.94% of the vote. Prior to her parliamentary victory, she won the NDC primaries in May 2023, establishing herself as a prominent figure in the Western Region's political landscape.
