May Golan

May Golan is an Israeli politician currently serving as a member of the Knesset and holding ministerial positions, including Minister for Social Equality and Minister for Women's Empowerment. Born in Tel Aviv, she rose to prominence as a right-wing activist campaigning against illegal immigration in South Tel Aviv. Throughout her political career, she has been a vocal supporter of nationalist policies and has faced significant international controversy for her rhetoric regarding African migrants and the Gaza Strip. In 2025, she became the subject of a criminal investigation by the National Fraud Investigation Unit regarding allegations of financial misconduct and administrative irregularities.
