Md. Keramat Ali

Md. Keramat Ali is a Bangladeshi politician, educator, and Member of Parliament representing the Chapai Nawabganj-1 constituency as a member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. Born in Shibganj, Chapai Nawabganj, he pursued extensive higher education including degrees from Rajshahi University, Dhaka University, and a PhD in 2014. He worked as a principal and lecturer before retiring as an assistant professor in 2018. Active in politics since his student days with Bangladesh Islami Chhatrasibir, he later held various leadership roles within Jamaat-e-Islami and served two terms as the chairman of Shibganj Upazila Parishad before being elected to the Jatiya Sangsad in 2026.
