Mehmet Baykan

Mehmet Baykan is a Turkish politician, lawyer, and sports administrator currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Konya. Before entering parliament in 2023, he held significant roles in public administration, including serving as the General Director of Sports Services from 2011 to 2023. Throughout his career, he has been deeply involved in sports management, having led the Turkish Amateur Sports Clubs Confederation and served in various capacities within the Turkish Football Federation. He is a member of the Justice and Development Party and serves on the Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Affairs.
