Meirav Ben-Ari is an Israeli politician currently serving as a member of the Knesset for the Yesh Atid party. Born in Raanana, she previously served in the Israel Defense Forces Education and Youth Corps and later held a seat in the Knesset for the Kulanu party between 2015 and 2019. Ben-Ari, who holds degrees in law and government, was the first woman appointed chair of the Knesset's National Security Committee in 2021. Before her parliamentary career, she served on the Tel Aviv City Council and gained national recognition after winning the reality television show 'Needed: A Leader' in 2005.
