Melanie Bernstein

Melanie Bernstein is a German politician representing the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). She first served as a member of the Bundestag for the constituency of Plön – Neumünster from 2017 to 2021. Following a brief absence, she returned to the Bundestag in January 2023. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has focused on family, senior citizens, women, and youth affairs, as well as petitions. Beyond her legislative duties, she holds positions on the boards of the German Federal Film Board, the Deutsche Maritime Akademie, and the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology.
