Melanie Onn is a British Labour politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Great Grimsby and Cleethorpes since 2024. Previously, she served as the MP for Great Grimsby from 2015 to 2019, during which time she held shadow ministerial roles, including Shadow Deputy Leader of the House of Commons and Shadow Housing Minister. Outside of her parliamentary career, she worked as a regional organiser for the trade union UNISON and served as the deputy chief executive of RenewableUK. Onn is a vocal advocate for the renewable energy industry and has campaigned on issues such as workers' rights and protections for victims of sexual violence.
