Melinda Kane is an American politician serving as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly for the 6th Legislative District. She was selected to fill a vacancy in early 2025 and subsequently won a full term in the November 2025 general election. Prior to her legislative service, Kane served on the Camden County Board of County Commissioners. A Gold Star Mother, she is active in her community and currently serves on the Assembly's Appropriations, Health, and Military and Veterans' Affairs committees.
