Melissa Provenzano

Melissa Provenzano is an American politician serving as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives for the 79th district, a position she has held since 2018. In January 2023, she was appointed as the Assistant Minority Leader of the Oklahoma House. An educator by profession, Provenzano was inspired to run for public office following the 2018 Oklahoma teacher walkout. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organismic Biology from Northeastern State University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Oklahoma.
