Meral Thoms

Meral Thoms is a German politician representing the Alliance 90/The Greens party. She has served as a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2022, having secured her seat via the state party list. Raised in Düsseldorf, she studied media studies, psychology, and sociology at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Before her election to the state parliament, she worked as a researcher and consultant. In addition to her legislative duties, she is active in local politics in Tönisvorst and the Viersen district, focusing on areas such as health, social affairs, and youth development.
