Seo Mi-hwa

Profile

Seo Mi-hwa is a South Korean human rights activist and politician currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly. Before entering national politics, she held various leadership roles in disability advocacy organizations, including the Mokpo Center for Independent Living and the Jeonnam Women with Disabilities Solidarity. She also served as a member of the Mokpo City Council and as a non-standing commissioner for the National Human Rights Commission of Korea. Since her election to the National Assembly in 2024, she has focused on health, welfare, and disability rights policy as a member of the Health and Welfare Committee.
