Michał Urgoł is a Polish politician and local government official currently serving as the Mayor of Jastrzębie-Zdrój. Born in Katowice, he holds an economics degree and previously worked as a business owner and executive in the mining insurance sector. He began his political career as a village head (sołtys) of Bzie and later served as a city councilor. In 2024, he was elected mayor, becoming the first candidate supported by the Law and Justice party to lead the city. In 2026, he was appointed to the Council of Local Government at the President of the Republic of Poland.
